About Open House Rosario

Rosario is the largest city in the province of Santa Fe, in central Argentina. It is located 300 km (186 mi) northwest of Buenos Aires, on the western shore of the Paraná River. Rosario is also the third most populous city in the country. With a growing and important metropolitan area, Greater Rosario has an estimated population of 1,250,000. One of its main attractions includes its architectural diversity. Indeed, Rosario’s architectural blueprint is decisively eclectic, showing the influence of the many immigration flows that reached the city by the end of the XIX century and the first decades of the XX century, as well as contemporary architecture masterpieces.

During Open House Rosario almost 100 buildings of outstanding architectural value that are usually closed to the public will open its doors to be visited and appreciated by local citizens at no cost.

Open House Rosario is organized by OHACHE, a local non-profit organization, founded with the aim of promoting the appreciation of Rosario’s architecture.
