OPEN HOUSE LIMERICK
29-31 OCTOBER

Open House Limerick's theme for 2021 is Architecture is Reconnecting. The hybrid programme has plenty of digital elements if you wish to join remotely. Watch The Cellars of the City - Time and Terrain film to join architect Peter Carroll on a tour of the cellars and tunnels underneath Limerick City. If you are in Limerick, don't miss the King's Island Walks, a specially curated looped walking tour that brings you past over 20 stops featuring works from the 12th to the 20th centuries as selected by local architects and artists.

OPEN HOUSE SEOUL
29 OCTOBER - 13 NOVEMBER

This year the theme of Open House Seoul is Rewritten House, a continuation from last year's Elements of House. The special feature of the festival will be the works of architect Jae-heon Jeong. You will have a unique opportunity to visit the studios of Korea's leading architects live on Zoom. Visit adaptive reuse projects and public spaces in the city and watch the beautiful architectural films made in collaboration with studio Giraffe Pictures.

OPEN HOUSE OSAKA
22-24 OCTOBER

Osaka, the second-largest metropolitan area in Japan, is home to a fully digital edition of Open House in 2021. The festival will feature over 150 buildings across the city, including photos, films and historical materials. Check out the films about Osaka’s hotels made to support them during the pandemic, such as the RIHGA Royal Hotel (pictured) established in 1935. The festival will also include five live online talks by architects, urban planners, and historians.

OPEN HOUSE PALMA
6-7 NOVEMBER

The inaugural edition of Open House Palma invites all to get to know the architecture and heritage of the city. More than 80 of the city’s best examples of architecture and design are opening their doors for guided tours, including sustainable housing projects, gothic palaces, private homes, institutions and infrastructure, and more. In addition, the festival also includes debates with architecture and urban experts, exploration by foot and by bike, a workshop for children, and a photography context.
