What a year! Thank you for an incredible 2023

Open House Worldwide is a global network of nearly 60 nonprofit organisations from New York to Seoul, Buenos Aires to Maputo, dedicated to making cities more open, accessible, and equitable. In 2022, Open House festivals launched in four new cities including Colombo, Sri Lanka and Maputo, Mozambique.

The network now spans:

52 Festivals
29 Countries
6 Continents

Collectively, Open House Worldwide members engage almost one million people a year in conversations about architecture, urban design and local communities.

In the past year, we also hosted our second international festival. A day of live online tours from Barcelona to Taipei, the festival explored 26 homes in 18 cities and gathered 46 inspirational architects, civic leaders, curators, educators, artists and residents for conversations about the future of housing.

The 2022 Open House Worldwide festival was titled:

Housing
and the
People

More than 7,600,000 tuned in live and since the broadcast on 6 April. The festival livestream can be viewed for free on YouTube and includes all 12 sessions.

Open House Worldwide is hugely grateful for the many organizations and individuals who supported our work in 2022. Special thanks to:
