This year, Open House Stockholm expands its scope to showcase a wider variety of architectural sites across Greater Stockholm with a focus on inclusivity and providing a platform for diverse perspectives. Parks have been included as spaces where architecture, play, and learning meet, especially for younger visitors. An audio tour will provide insights into architecture and urban planning from an LGBTQ+ perspective, exploring how different groups engage with the city. Additional highlights include the newly renovated Stena CoWork at Klarahuset, Skrapan's co-working spaces in Södermalm, the iconic Skandia Cinema and “Stockholm's Building of the Year” Ersta Hospital.

OPEN HOUSE BILBAO
BILBAO, SPAIN

The eighth edition of Open House Bilbao goes beyond opening spaces and highlights new approaches from emerging studios to architecture without construction, showcasing alternative ways of practising. Under the theme "festival of architectures," it embraces the diversity of contemporary architecture.

Don't miss the Apnavi Day Centre for young people with autism; Casa Kuna, an old cradle house converted into a cultural centre; Arteche, an ultra-high voltage laboratory; or Ibaigane, an ancient palace restored as the headquarters of the city's football club.

OPEN HOUSE DUBLIN
DUBLIN, IRELAND
12-20 OCTOBER

Open House Dublin holds a mirror to the city and county, inviting visitors to debate and discuss all that they see, hear and feel. Highlights include a mystery tour of an OPW building, tours of the award-winning Lark Concert Hall, and the Wayfinding Centre in Glasnevin. This year’s theme focuses on “belonging,” inviting participants to reflect on how Dublin’s architecture represents and includes all its residents. New additions include Open Studios, where architects open their doors to the public, and Open Table conversations on key social issues like immigration, ageing, and gender-sensitive design.

OPEN HOUSE TALLINN
TALLINN, ESTONIA
12-13 OCTOBER

During Open House Tallinn, over 40 buildings will be open for free tours, alongside special talks and urban space tours. For the first time, a tour for the visually impaired will be offered, along with tours in Estonian Sign Language. Highlights include indoor labyrinth orienteering at Krulli, offering a unique way to experience architecture; the iconic Bank of Estonia in the heart of Tallinn; the transformation of the former Nõmme Elevaator industrial zone into a community centre; and the Kadriorg Park Orangery, which will be converted into a gardening complex for park maintenance.
